Spring has finally sprung! That means warm evenings of gorgeous sunsets and blissful mornings of beautiful sunrises!

When Megan first contacted me about having a sunrise photo session, I was a little hesitant considering that I have never had a sunrise session before. And if you know me, I am not a morning person…So getting up super early to start a session at 6.30 in the morning wasn’t that appealing to me. But!  It was worth it!  This family of four and their super awesome Great Dane Domino was a joy to photograph! And their front yard was a perfect location for a sunrise family session!

Even though the morning was foggy and my shoes and jeans were wet from the dew, it was a very fun session! You can’t go wrong when the stars of the show are two adorable little brothers in their matching bright colored rain boots that were just perfect for this beautiful Saturday morning! Grantham and Tad were a little camera shy, but with lots of bribery and promises of candy and donuts, they cooperated.  And not to mention there were some raking, fence climbing and dog riding involved!

We even had some time for a few photos of mom and dad on their own. What a beautiful couple! And they make some pretty darn cute kids! I had the most amazing time capturing this family’s sweet, joyful, free spirits! I just love how their playful, loving personalities came through in these images. And I was so happy to freeze this moment in their lives because we all know how fast it goes!
