Indeed, I found my ‘everything bagel’! This comes to mind every time I think of Amanda and David. That was Dave’s answer to my question about how they met. They met online via Coffee Meets Bagel app a couple of years ago, and he said he indeed found his ‘everything bagel’! They got engaged on Christmas morning when Dave had hidden a gift box in their Christmas tree, and after they were finished exchanging gifts, Dave told Amanda that there was one more gift. When she found the box (which by the way was not an ordinary ring box. It was a beautiful pop-up rose that had a ring inside!), Dave got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! Isn’t that sweet!?
Their engagement session in Canton, OH was so very special! We decided to include both their boys, Elliot and Duncan, for the first half of the session and it turned out to be fun and very heartwarming family engagement session! The boys were so good in front of the camera and they kept giving me the cutest smiles to capture. And those smiles kept me smiling all evening long! I was so glad that the rain held off until later that night, and we were able to get some great photos at the McKinley Memorial Park without getting wet!
Later in the evening we changed the location to downtown Canton and focused on creating beautiful portraits of the bride and groom to be. All the giggles, hugs and kisses made my job very easy! Amanda and Dave, you are so very natural together and were a pleasure to work with. I had so much fun getting to know you and capturing this special time of your lives! I cannot wait to document your big day later this month!
Here are some of my favorites from our time together.
