Savannah and John’s love story goes all the way back to high school. Now fast forward 9 years and here they are! High school sweethearts with three beautiful children about to enter a new chapter of their lives this September! So exciting! Their proposal was so unique, and I’ve never heard anything like that before! John created a set of photo frames where he put their relationship milestones photos and then a blank one that said “this is where our next photo will be going…will you marry me?” Isn’t this sweet!?

After rescheduling their engagement session due to rain, we lucked out on a great Sunday evening and were able to hit a few great locations around the city of Wheeling.
Savannah and John asked me if they could include their kiddos in the engagement session, and the answer is always yes! So we started our time together by taking a few family photos and oh boy! It’s been a while since I photographed a family of five with small children! Andrew, Jozlynn, and Briella were just so adorable in their perfectly coordinated outfits and so fun to work with! Andrew and Jozlynn did a great job posing for me, and they also were a huge help with their little sister. I just loved how they were behaving like true older siblings and were always hugging Briella and making sure she smiles for the camera! With everyone’s effort, we managed to get a few good photos of the whole family!

Later in the evening, we focused on creating some beautiful portraits for the bride and groom to be. Savannah and John’ genuine smiles and giggles lasted the entire evening! These two are so very excited to finally tie the knot, and I cannot wait to capture the beginning of their new adventure together! I enjoyed every minute I spent with this beautiful couples and here are some of my favorites!
