Ah….wild and wonderful state of West Virginia, you have so many beautiful locations for a photo session. Cooper’s Rock State Park was definitely on my bucket list, and now I can finally cross it off! Sara and Cory literally hiked an extra mile to Raven’s Rock overlook for some pretty cool engagement photos. And I am not surprised! These two high schools sweethearts love outdoors and always up for an adventure!

Their engagement story can back it up. Cory and Sara got engaged during their trip to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee last fall. One day they took a chairlift to the top of the mountain, and that’s where Cory got down on one knee and popped the question with a custom engagement ring in hand! He even arranged a photographer to document such an important moment of their lives. How awesome is that?! Upon returning home these two wanted to continue their adventurous engagement story with a session at Raven’s Rock Overlook. And it was so worth it! Look at the pretty fall foliage and breathtaking view of the Appalachian Mountains!
