Hartwood Acres Park Engagement Session | Pittsburgh, PA Wedding and Engagement Photographer

Emily and Tyler’s story began in college seven years ago. They both played soccer, and that love for the sport slowly grew into something much bigger. Their relationship went through a real test when after graduation they had to spend a couple of years apart due to work. But this long-distance relationship made their union even stronger, and helped them realized that that was it! They wanted to spend the rest of their lives together! So they bought a house in PA while Emily was still living in Florida. And a few months later when she came home to visit, Tyler completely caught her off guard and surprised her with a ring! He proposed while they were making dinner together for the first time in their new house. So simple and so heartwarming!

I always love shooting in new locations, so when Emily suggested Hartwood Acres Park, I was all in! This location is so dreamy (needless to say it was on my bucket list too) and I fell in love right away! Beautiful gardens with flowers in full bloom paired with the stone beauty of the mansion reminded me of a fairy tale. And it was a perfect spot for some pre-wedding photos of these two love birds. Just look at them! Later that evening we found ourselves walking around Point State Park, enjoying the sunset, city views and of course, yellow bridges!

The only thing more beautiful than the locations was the couple. Emily and Tyler, your smiles are so bright and so contagious! Your easy-going personalities and focus on being in love and having fun made my job so easy! With every photo I took, I got more and more excited for your wedding at Southpointe Golf Club next year! Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy this short but sweet engagement season of your life. You’ll be married before you know it, and I am so honored to be the one capturing those sweet moments for you!
Here are some of my favorites from our time together. I hope you love them as much as I do!
