West Virginia Wedding and Engagement Photographer

The sun was shining bright, but Savannah and John’s smiles were shining even brighter. Nine years in the making, these two high school sweethearts tied a knot at the beautiful Shepherds Farm Barn surrounded by close family and friends.

The celebration was so sweet, so intimate and truly reflected who they are as a couple. Personal touches were everywhere. From the cutest ring box, a photo of Savannah’s mom on her bouquet who passed away a few years ago, a unique necklace that Kayla, Savannah’s sister, gifted her (that included their birthstones and the birthstone of their mom!) to personalized dress hangers – all of those beautiful details were a pleasure to photograph. And her dress! Just look how gorgeous she looked in her lace and tulle gown by Galina! A rose gold accessories and veil complimented her look so well! No wonder John teared up when he saw her walking down the aisle.

Savannah and John’s two little girls, Jozlynn and Briella, looked so stinking adorable in their matching dresses! Two little princesses for sure! And Andrew, their son, definitely was the most handsome fella in the whole bridal party!

The Shepherds Barn has beautiful grounds that provide a great backdrop for the photos. So we took some portraits by the barn first and then hiked down to the pond for some final images. We were chased by the bees and were out of breath from a little hike, but it was all worth it!

The rest of the day was spent with well-wishes, a few tears, lots of laughter, cake and dancing!
Savannah and John, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day! It was truly an honor to witness the love you two share!
