West Virginia rolling hills, turquoise pond with cattails, hay fields, and beautiful sunset… Add a gorgeous couple and warm fall evening, and you got yourself a fantastic session! I love shooting at new locations, and I was thrilled when Anna mentioned that they wanted to have their engagement photos taken at her family farm where she grew up. I’ve never had a session at the farm, and was so excited to explore! And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I think farm engagement session might be my new favorite!
Anna and JR met in college. Anna was visiting a friend at Wheeling Jesuit University, and JR just happened to be in a group of people they hung out that day. After about five years of dating, JR proposed to Anna on Mother’s day in front of her family. How sweet!
I had lots of fun exploring the grounds around the farm with these two! We chatted about their wedding plans, danced a little, and enjoyed a lovely sunset. Anna and JR, I loved spending time with you and getting to know you! You are so laid back, sweet, and so in love! And I can’t wait to capture your wedding next year! And since you said you only have a handful of photos together, I am so excited for you to have all these beautiful images from your engagement session. I hope you enjoy them!
